We are now just 28 shorts days away from the 2012 Christmas special, titled "The Snowmen" and featuring Madam Vastra, Jane, Strax, and Jenna-Louise Coleman will be returning not as Oswin Oswald, but as the Doctor's new companion, Clara.
We are also less than a year away from the 50th Anniversary event, airing in November 2013 , it is titled "An Adventure in Space and Time". According to the Doctor himself, Matt Smith, there may be more than one special and Billie Piper may return as Rose Tyler.
